Open House: Future of Young Street Park
The Municipality is exploring the potential for affordable housing on a portion of Young Street Park, located at 41 Young Street, a municipally owned and operated property. Residents are invited to attend the Open House to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and share their perspectives before any decisions are made.
The Open House is meant to gather community feedback on different options for affordable housing, as well as ideas for parkland or park features that could remain on the site. Staff will also explain how this site was chosen, discuss early land use ideas, and share information about the purpose and benefits of affordable housing. Most importantly, the Open House will give residents a chance to ask questions, offer comments, and share their ideas.
